PAY RATE: $30.38 - $31.98 Per Hour

JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Finance, the Junior Financial (Corporate Office) will execute financial analysis, gather verified financial reports, analyze reports in order to present to senior management financial and performance trends. Works closely with the Senior Financial Analyst in the CQI Department to execute effective systems to monitor and model Program and Corporate finances, to assist continuous quality improvement throughout all VOALA financial practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile and analyze Program and Corporate financial reports, report trends to senior management
- Apply financial modeling to both Corporate and individual Program financial data in order to model historic trends, and forecast future state of finances
- Build financial models to analyze historical and future financial trends and needs
- Craft, maintain and distribute financial models and reports on monthly and ad hoc basis
- Develop queries to pull data from databases to deliver ad hoc analysis
- Work with Program managers and Senior Financial Analyst to evaluate historic performance and forecast future trends
- Continuously track and evaluate Corporate and Program financial performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth
- Establish a repeatable internal communication process which informs the organization on key performance metrics
- Work with Senior Managers to implement best financial practices at Programs and VOALA-wide
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year of experience in accounting and financial modeling
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS, Finance; MBA
- 3 years accounting experience
- Financial audit experience
- Non-profit funding and accounting
- Familiar with CARF standards
- Familiar with Great Plains accounting software
- Familiar with Jet Analytics
