JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS :
The Director of Admissions and Outreach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of client intake, admissions processes, and community outreach efforts. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that individuals who need our services can access treatment in a seamless, compassionate, and efficient manner. The Director will help build partnerships with community organizations, health professionals, and other stakeholders to enhance awareness of our services and strengthen our presence in the community. The Director of Admissions and Outreach is responsible for generating and analyzing data driven reports related to admissions and outreach goals. The Director of Admissions and Outreach is responsible to driving the census in VOA Recovery with collaboration with community partners and internal programs.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE FOR THIS ROLE :
This role is very goal driven with a sales focus with skills like inspiring genuine trust, building strong relationships, and continuing to consistently follow up. The position requires exceptional communication, customer service, and critical thinking skills. This position also requires skills in time management and experience with clinical services. Experience with computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required. The candidate must exhibit compassion toward people living with behavioral health and substance use issues, Hepatitis C and HIV / AIDS and the ability to convey respect to target populations and community partners. The candidate must have the background and aptitude to learn and apply Volunteers of America’s personnel and program policies and procedures.
