Volunteers of America is currently seeking an experienced & dynamic Mental Health Assistant Program Manager for our Intensive Residential Treatment program in Bangor!
- Do you have a experience providing quality support to individuals experiencing chronic and persistent mental illness (minimum of 2 years, required)?
- Do you have a full MHRT-1 Certification?
- Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or Other Related Field or a MHRT-C certification (preferred)?
- Do you have a passion to support an individual to live their best life, despite them experiencing multiple medical and psychiatric challenges?
- Do you have or seek to gain experience working with a team of interdisciplinary professionals?
- Do you have experience supervising and/or supporting front line staff?
- Do you have exemplary role modeling skills, and an outstanding work ethic?

This program supports four individuals in a community setting. The Assistant Program Manager will support the Program Manager to oversee many aspects of the program.

- The position requires 2-4 years of mental health experience.
- Scheduling experience is highly desirable.
- Starting pay range is $21/hr - $23/hr, dependent on experience and education.
