Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Training
- Mentorship: Guide and support family services staff including (case managers/peer supporter, Kinship Coordinator and other staff as assigned based on programmatic growth), providing a solid foundation through comprehensive orientation, continued training, and constructive feedback.
- Growth-Oriented Supervision: Develop individual growth plans, promote skill-building activities, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold and monitor compliance with agency and governing body standards, including the Division of Behavioral Health, CARF, and Medicaid guidelines.
- Community Connections: Act as a resource bridge, linking team members with essential community services for the families we serve.
- Program Coordination: Oversee support groups, psychoeducational sessions, and manage staff schedules, ensuring all elements align with program objectives.
Direct Service & Family Engagement
- Kinship and Family Support Expertise: Build an in-depth knowledge of kinship care and family wellness, actively participating in training and research to support caregivers and their families.
- Service Delivery: Provide a minimum of 8 hours per week of direct service to families, whether at home, in school, or within the community.
- Care Coordination: Connect families with essential resources for health, housing, education, and wellness.
- Support & Workshops: Plan and facilitate support groups, educational workshops and family engagement activities, applying frameworks like Trust Based Relational Intervention, Strengthening Families and Parenting the Second Time Around to enrich family engagement.
Program Operations & Quality Assurance
- Program Leadership: Drive program growth by monitoring key metrics like program utilization, satisfaction, and quality of care. Identify areas for improvement and confidently implement solutions that enhance client experience and outcomes.
- Documentation & Compliance: Oversee clinical documentation practices to maintain high standards in compliance, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to Medicaid regulations, CARF standards, and Division of Behavioral Health requirements, working closely with quality assurance and leadership teams to meet all audit standards.
- Impactful Reporting: Oversee data collection for grant reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions that demonstrate program effectiveness and accountability.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work; or a similar field with experience in case management and coordination of services, or two years’ experience in social work or a similar field with experience in case management, coordination of services and community service.
- Experience using strength-based case management and either knowledge of Trauma Informed Care or willingness to be trained
