Job Details Job Location : Corporate Office - Chicago, IL Position Type : Full Time Salary Range : $67,000.00 - $96,000.00Senior Program Director- Haven on LincolnSummary of Position : Under the immediate supervision of the VP of Behavioral Health, the Senior Program Director is responsible for the overall management and operation of VOA Illinois' Stabilization Housing program. They will ensure that the program is designed and implemented to successfully help individuals experiencing homelessness who need integrated housing and healthcare services to gain greater independence and better health outcomes. Additionally, they will provide clinical leadership and direction for all psychotherapy treatment programs, maintaining accepted standards of practice throughout The Haven on Lincoln, and providing administrative and professional supervision of all behavioral healthcare staff. The Senior Program Director is responsible for ensuring site oversight in the areas of licensing regulations, legal and ethical regulations, and clinical supervision. The position provides direct supervision to all clinical site staff and the Manager of Resident Services.Position Type : This position is exempt and reports to the VP of Behavioral Health.Essential Functions : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.Provide oversight for the Haven on Lincoln and the Behavioral Health Clinic to ensure excellence in service delivery for up to 40 residents.Develop, update, and implement clinical procedures in accordance with government regulations.Ensure billing is in compliance with Medicaid standards.Provide individual and group clinical supervision of behavioral health staff.Ensure that the clinic meets all contractual goals and funding requirements.Assist staff and interns with urgent clinical situations and provide supervisory crisis coverage 24 / 7.Monitor and evaluate case management services, outreach, intake, 24 / 7 shift staffing, and provide ongoing program evaluations and recommendations for continuous growth and quality improvement.Ensure all data is reported to appropriate databases and funders as required.Implement change as directed to meet program objectives and participant needs.Regularly interact with all assigned staff to provide programmatic support. Ensure all participant concerns are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.Develop and submit reports for program metrics monthly and as requested.Meet regularly with the Finance Department to track program spending. Review payment status for qualifying expenses and ensure prompt resolution of any financial discrepancies.May provide individual or group therapy as needed.Represent VOA Illinois at meetings with community partners.Reports program progress to supervisor; makes written evaluation reports on the progress of the program and performs record-keeping functions required by the agency.Participates in agency studies of particular problems or casework practices.Assists in compiling behavioral health resources to provide effective referrals to community members and participants.Develop and deliver presentations to share program data and service trends. Promote the success and reputation of the program.Operate program in an efficient, cost-effective manner. Monitor budget for revenue goals and expenses. Implement cost containment as needed to stay within budget parameters.Supervise all clinical therapeutic staff and Manager of Resident Services.Monitor performance and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and timely evaluation.Deliver services with sensitivity to the clients’ cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.Uphold and actively demonstrate investment in the mission and values of Volunteers of America of Illinois.Other Duties : As assigned by the VP of Behavioral Health.Work Environment : Generally, this position operates in a professional office environment. The hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM. Flexibility in the schedule may be requested to accommodate client work / school schedules. This position requires a rotating on-call component.Physical Demands : Physical demands may be a part of the essential functions of this position. Especially as it relates to the capacity to move freely around the community in a vehicle. Reasonable accommodations for the physical demands of the essential functions of the position can be considered and made when possible in response to a specific request.Qualifications : A minimum of three (3) years of administrative management and clinical supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting.Strong knowledge of the Medicaid billing process.Credentialed with various insurance companies.Extensive knowledge of and experience with behavioral healthcare for persons experiencing homelessness.Possess analytical and psychosocial diagnostic skills and resourcefulness in developing treatment processes utilizing agency-approved treatment modalities.Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.Possess good time management and organizational skills to proficiently complete assigned tasks and maintain clinical documentation consistently.Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle.Be proficient in software applications especially with Microsoft Office.Education and Experience : Must have LCSW or LCPC Licensure.This position requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university.A minimum of three (3) years of administrative management and clinical supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting.Volunteers of America of Illinois provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
