Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, required
Fully licensed, able to practice independently, and in good standing with respective board.
Salary Range:
Master's degree: $65K - $75K annually depending on experience and placement
Travel Required:
Dependent on placement.

JOB SUMMARY:
Assist in creating a recovery-oriented, person-centered, culturally competent, and trauma informed treatment environment through strong leadership skills. Responsible for overseeing the clinical and administrative operations of behavioral health programming, ensuring high-quality client care through management of clinical staff, monitoring outcomes, maintaining compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsible for upholding the mission and vision of the organization while supporting excellence and growth of the clinical team.
JOB DUTIES:
- Oversee and ensure effective and efficient daily operations. Coordinates the day-to-day operations of program services between clinical team and administrative teams.
- Provides guidance, support, and problem solving for clinical team regarding processes and procedures to ensure clinician success.
- Interpret reporting and data trends. Provide advice and create plans based on analysis of issues and trends and works collaboratively with management team to develop solutions and improve processes and workflows.
- Ensure all timesheets are accurate and approved timely each payroll.
- Oversee the supervision of clinical supervisors and ensure that minimum standards of supervision are being met.
- Create and implement a plan of action for any performance deficits that are identified in collaboration with the Vice President of Behavioral Health Services.
- Coordinate, schedule, and conduct staff meetings; Provide educational training supports and guidance to promote employee growth and development and adherence to LDH standards and CARF standards.
- Assist Vice President of Behavioral Health in hiring and placement of new staff and in recruiting and evaluating potential referral sources and site placements.
- Assist Vice President of Behavioral Health in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions of all staff.
- Participate with Vice President of Behavioral Heath in program design and revision by establishing policies, procedures, workflows, and guidelines for all supporting documentation.
- Assist with program implementation and evaluation activities.
- Ensure all records of caseloads are accurately maintained, including incident reports, billing and progress notes. Ensure staff billing is submitted in the time-frame required by the organization.
- Assist Vice President of Behavioral Health in assuring that the program meets or exceeds productivity standards established by the organization.
- Assist Vice President of Behavioral Health in developing an annual fiscal budget that is appropriate and assist with ensuring targets to meet budget are met.
- Participate in required in-service training set forth by the agency and licensing agencies.
- Perform quality assurance functions as needed.
- Attend all required trainings and supervisory meetings.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Board Certified Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor who is licensed under the provision of R.S. 37:1101-1115.
- Two (2) years of experience in the delivery of direct mental health services, preferably in a community-based setting.
- Clinical supervisory experience preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or obtain upon hire.
- Current valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Automobile liability insurance that meets minimum requirements.

- Intermediate computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive situations.
