Summary : The Partnerships in Child Care division of Volunteers of America Greater Baton Rouge provides coaching, information, support, and assistance to child care teachers and Directors to improve the quality of their early childhood instruction and thus positive learning outcomes for children. The Master Coach is responsible for the supervision, coordination of activities, and management of efficient delivery of services of the coaching component of the Partnerships in Child Care Program.
Position Type : Full Time, Exempt
Essential Functions :
- Monitor the effectiveness of coaching across the CCR&R service area and support the continuous growth of the coaching staff
- Develop and implement monthly Professional Learning Communities with the agency to build best practices and coaching competencies
- Participate in monthly opportunities provided by LDOE for peer learning and redelivery to team
- Development and implementation of an overall strategic plan for coaching to ensure that providers are assisted to implement best practices, implement strategies to promote sustained change, and support self-directed improvement, according to guidelines established by the Louisiana Department of Education, for effective implementation of
Early Learning and Development Standards,
