Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Head Facilitator, the facilitator is responsible for providing services to families. These families are primarily referred through counseling agencies, FINS, or other community partners.

Part-time, Non-Exempt
Essential Functions
- Plan, organize and coordinate activities with head facilitator.
- Teach and facilitate parenting classes and coaching during family visits.
- Provide families with information about needed resources and make referrals as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation.
- Complete and submit required reports in an accurate and timely manner to ensure deadlines are met.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
- Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.
- Proficiently use computers and relevant software packages and applications.
- Participate when required in outreach activities and other community based events.
- Present ideas effectively, both orally and in writing
- Practice de-escalation and conflict resolution when handling complaints.
- Work collaboratively with team members and staff of other programs.
- Participate and complete any required or assigned trainings.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field from an accredited college, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in another field with at least one year of social services experience can be substituted.
- Strengthening Families Program certified, preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
