Position: Transportation and CFC contractor

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Pay: $15.00 per hour (HCS)

Hours: Varies

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Attendant for a 47-year-old woman client is verbal and needs a staff to transport her to various places such as: doctor appointment, local grocery stores, and in the community. Staff will need to be patient when transporting individual and use good judgment of client needs.

Job Requirements

• Proficiently communicates in the functional language of the individual to whom the CFC is and transportation is assigned.
• Feels comfortable working in close physical proximity to individual.
• Demonstrates emotional maturity, stability, and ability to perform under stress, and possesses frustration tolerance.
• Shows ability to exercise good judgment, cooperation, tact, and discretion in dealing with the individual, family, etc.
• Shows interest in developing additional knowledge and skills
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must NOT be the spouse of the individual to whom the Contract CFC staff is assigned: or if the individual is under 18 years of age, a parent of the individual to whom the Intervener is assigned.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Valid Texas Drivers' License.
