DentalPosition : Program DirectorThe Program Director manages the delivery of services to residents within the policies and guidelines of Volunteers of America.Horizon Program , comprised of scattered-site apartments located in the Bronx, enables single adults and families to live independently within the community, as self-sufficiently as possible.Location : 349 East 149th Street, Bronx, NY 10451Minimum Qualifications : The position requires a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Master Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a specialty in Mental Health, five years of relevant experience and three years of supervisory experience.The position also requires a demonstrated ability to manage social service programs serving diverse client populations with substantial budget responsibility.In addition, it requires a reasonable combination of skills in the following areas : the design, operational oversight and evaluation of program services, personnel management, budget development and control, property management, public relations and governmental relations.Program Director Principal Responsibilities : Develop and market program services and assist with writing RFPs.Manage program services for quality and consistency.Manage program personnel.Manage fiscal operations - i.e., overtime expenses.Manage program facilities.Manage community and governmental relations.Provide clinical supervision / oversight of program personnel.Perform other related tasks as assigned.Employees receive an exceptional benefits package including : MedicalDentalVisionPrescription coverageLife insuranceRetirement planEducational Reimbursement Program (includes tuition and license / certification)Paid Time Off which is accrued monthly and rolls over from year to year.
