What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volvo Valet/Shuttle Driver position at Volvo Cars of Queens?
Volvo Cars of Queens is currently looking for a Sales Valet/Porter to join our Winning team!!
The ideal candidate for all positions must be energetic, self-motivated and a team player. They must have excellent communication skills with a stable work history. All candidates must have a valid driver’s license. A "Whatever It Takes" mindset is a requirement to be consideration for employment.
Sales Valet/Porter:
- The Sales Valet/Porter driver works at the sales department and our service department in addition to our multiple offsite vehicle storage locations.
- Works with the sales team to coordinate the pick up and drop off of vehicles.
- They are a front line representative that helps in any way possible to keep the process of client satisfaction moving smoothly and efficiently while representing the dealership in a professional, friendly manner at all times.
Essential Duties:
- Safely drive vehicles to requested destinations.
- The ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including rain and heat.
- Run errands for sales and service department as needed.
- Clean and performing light duty maintenance and other tasks as instructed by management team.
- Responsible for communicating maintenance needs on the vehicles.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Other duties will be assigned by management team.
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be 21 years or older
Reports any safety issues immediately to management. Other duties may be assigned.
