What You Will Do

- Design and Implementation: Develop and review BESS configurations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct load flow, short circuit, and grounding studies to ensure system reliability.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with stakeholders, including utility companies and contractors, to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
- Support During Commissioning: Provide technical assistance during the construction and testing phases to ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in standards and engineering, particularly in the field of battery technology and energy storage solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Typically requires 2-5 years in BESS design, construction, or maintenance.
- Skills: Strong understanding of power systems, proficiency in relevant software, and familiarity with industry standards.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Experience with high-voltage battery systems and energy storage applications.
- Expert knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for battery systems.
