We are excited to welcome a new member to our Inventory Control team. Our mission is to ensure that the inventory reported in our financial statements is accurate and to prevent an inventory discrepancy from causing production downtime. As an Inventory Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our one-million-square-foot manufacturing facility, which is dedicated to producing high-quality components for heavy-duty vehicles.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting Cycle Counts: Regularly performing cycle counts of heavy-duty engine, transmission, axle, and electromobility parts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Collecting and Analyzing Data: Recording and analyzing inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Investigating Discrepancies: Proactively investigating inventory discrepancies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilizing analytical skills to troubleshoot inventory-related challenges and develop effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Developing Dashboards: Creating and maintaining Microsoft Power BI dashboards to visualize inventory metrics, track performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Optimizing Processes: Developing Power Platform tools to streamline inventory management processes, improve accuracy, and enhance overall productivity.

Who You Are

We are looking for a trustworthy, detail-oriented individual who possesses:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365: Strong skills in SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platforms: Familiarity with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate to create dashboards and automate processes.
  • Educational Background: An Associate’s degree in a relevant field (such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics) or two years of experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make informed decisions.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to working effectively within a team-oriented environment.

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base salary range is set at $63,070 - $77.910 and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
