Position Overview :
The Lot Porter and Sales Department Detailer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dealership's vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for customer viewings. This role combines vehicle preparation with lot management to maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Vehicle Preparation :
Clean, polish, and detail vehicles to ensure they are in pristine condition for display and customer test drives.
Wash, wax, and vacuum vehicles as needed.
Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any cosmetic issues.
Lot Management :
Assist with organizing and maintaining the dealership lot, ensuring that vehicles are properly displayed and accessible.
Rotate stock and ensure that vehicles are parked in an orderly fashion.
Handle vehicle keys and maintain accurate records.
Customer Service Support :
Assist customers and sales staff with vehicle-related requests.
Provide a friendly and professional experience for all visitors to the dealership.
General Duties :
Assist with moving vehicles to different locations as needed.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed.
Support other dealership departments as required.
Qualifications :
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Prior experience in automotive detailing or lot porter roles is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
