Hope Health Care has an opportunity for you to continue to serve veterans who are on Hospice care. They have amazing stories to share and can engage heartily. TRAINING
Potential volunteers must complete a background check, attend a 30-45 minute initial meeting, attend a 5-6 hour orientation, drug screen, and a two-step tuberculosis test prior to volunteering.
TIME
Your schedule is up to you! Most volunteers serve between 1 to 4 hours per week.
LOCATION
If you'd like to be a veteran-to-veteran patient companion volunteer, we will match you with a veteran who lives in or around your community. We only ask that you share your time with our patients and families.
