Job Summary
The General laborer is accountable to produce goods as specified on the job traveler or other instructions given by supervisor.
What You’ll Do…
- Perform production operations to obtain utmost and ongoing efficiency
- Support ongoing quality improvement processes to ensure all deliverables are produced defect free and aligned with technical specifications
- Follow standard operational procedures and work practices and policies to ensure consistency of output
- Produce goods as specified on the job ticket or other instructions given by the supervisor or team leader
- Follow MPI procedures per job work center
- Read and understand job traveler and utilize computer job tracking system
- Visually inspect for substandard sheets during all operations
- Maintain efficiency and quality benchmarks per MPI standards
- Request any training required for you to succeed
- Maintain organized and clean work environment
- Enter recommendations to management for improvements in areas such as personal safety improved product quality better rates and yields, or any other matters that impact shop costs or employee’s health
- Practice safe working habits as detailed in the Company Safety Manual and Employee Handbook
- Do other tasks as directed by a supervisor
