Job Description:
Von Rock Law is seeking a legal assistant to join the team. The legal assistant will be responsible for being the welcoming face of the office, as well as assisting the tenants of the office with receptionist and administrative tasks, and providing legal support to our attorneys, paralegals and intake team. A successful candidate must be able to work full time in the office, Monday through Friday. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
Job Responsibilities to Include:
· Greeting and directing visitors
· Participating in our potential new client intake process, including in person and phone/zoom screenings, use of our electronic intake system platform, scheduling and assisting with related meetings, supporting the intake team
· Scheduling reservations for meeting spaces, assisting with events /meetings in the office, using our billing platform(s) for tenant/co-working invoicing
· Providing administrative support such as document and binder preparation, scheduling of notary services, printing, scanning, electronic filing and related tasks in support of our legal team
· Preparing posts for our social media, collaborating with our marketing team for marketing campaigns
· Keeping a safe and clean reception area
· Opening and closing the office
· Managing office supplies
· Managing mail, incoming and outgoing
· Executing the day-to-day operations of the office
Required Qualifications:
· High School Diploma
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant
Bonus Qualifications:
· Licensed Notary
· Bookkeeping
· Experience working in law firms or a customer-focused industry
· Post HS education
Additional Skills:
· Able to work on a team and on your own
· Solid command of English including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style
· Very cheerful personality and presence
· Excellent attention to detail
