Job Brief:
The Office Administrator at Von’s Jewelry plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the jewelry store. This position involves managing administrative tasks, client and vendor relations, and ensuring efficient office management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess strong communication skills to contribute to the smooth functioning of the team and enhance customer service.
Office Administrator Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- Greet and assist visitors.
- Manage email correspondence, including drafting and formatting documents.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Maintain calendars and schedules.
- Plan and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Manage office supplies and equipment.
- Maintain filing systems and databases.
- Prepare presentations and reports.
- Prepare expense reports and reconcile invoices.
- Assist with budget preparation and tracking.
- Maintain confidential information with discretion.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Inventory control.
- Input new stock.
- Generate inventory and sales reports.
- Shipping and receiving.
Office Administrator Requirements:
- A jewelry background is preferred.
- Retail sales expereince is required
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
