Job Details
The EHS Manager is responsible for directing safety program oversight to all company worksite locations. This person oversees development and implementation of safety practices, audits safety procedure implementation, ensures compliance with corporate/OSHA regulations and conducts root-cause analysis of health and safety incidents.
The EHS Manager monitors, and documents effectiveness of safety control measures and directs company operations staff in the implementation of the corporate safety program. This person will manage the development of site-specific safety plans and other safety related projects and be the primary point of contact on all safety related issues within assigned territory.

The EHS Manager is responsible for directing safety program oversight to all company worksite locations. Job Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct safety training; lead monthly safety committee meetings
- Supply leadership, management, and direction as company safety subject matter expert
- Conduct safety audits, generate corresponding reports, and coordinate corrective actions
- Coordinate training requirements to meet any emergency response plan procedures
- Assure that new safety regulations are evaluated and implemented as required
- Prepare or review safety documentation for proposals, inclusive of sub-contractor programs
- Investigate and coordinate company response to any first report of injury or safety emergency
- Routine and transparent communication on company goals and KPIs
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to positively influences company safety culture
- Extensive knowledge of current regulatory compliance requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to work closely with a diverse group of co-workers
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelors in management or equivalent area of study (highly desired, but not needed)
- 3-5 years multi-location safety program oversight
- Experience with lock out, tag out or confined spaces
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30 and Forklift Certifications required
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Frequent bending and twisting
- Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs.
Additional Information / Benefits
- Full Time- mainly 1st shift- with other shift responsibilities and weekends as needed
- $65,000-$69,000 annual salary
