Operator
The Operator is responsible for operating industrial power equipment as needed to complete assigned tasks. This person is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.
Job responsibilities :
- The operators must do machine checks each day.
- Drive throughout the plant with their main focus using the machine to sweep and scrub the floor.
- Must get on and off the machine frequently to sweep, with a broom, where the machines cannot reach and use a scraper throughout the entire shift to scrape excess rubber off the floors, assist with spill clean ups, and dust guardrails.
- Maintain a safe work environment following all required safety regulations and protocols
- Complete other duties as assigned
Job requirements :
Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or GED
Stand and walk for long periods of time; climb stairs
