In this role, you’ll be hands-on in monitoring the production process, testing products, and ensuring that everything meets our high standards of quality and safety. What You Will Be Doing
As a QA Technician, you will be responsible for conducting quality checks and inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Your work is critical in maintaining the quality our customers expect.
The position will be based in Riverside, CA.
Main Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished soups.
Conduct quality tests, such as pH, Brix, and microbiological tests, to ensure products meet specifications.
Monitor production lines to ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
Record and analyze quality data, reporting any deviations from standards to the QA Coordinator or management.
Assist in the investigation of product quality issues and help implement corrective actions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab and testing equipment.
Ensure proper documentation of all quality control activities.
Work closely with production teams to identify potential quality risks and support continuous improvement efforts.
Follow food safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
What We Are Searching For
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in food science or related field preferred.
Previous experience in quality assurance or quality control in a food or beverage production facility.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures.
Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety regulations.
Basic understanding of lab testing equipment and procedures.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and manage multiple tasks.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, or overtime, as needed.
