Senior DevOps Software Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr DevOps Engineer on our global engineering team located in Simsbury, CT. We are looking for motivated people to join us on our journey. You need to think big, move fast, and want to make a significant impact. Are you ready?

What you will do

• Develop and implement cloud-based solutions to enhance internal tools and drive key company initiatives.
• Deploy and manage microservice-based architectures to monitor, optimize, and scale our global fleet of fuel dispensers and Automated Tank Gauges (ATGs).
• Administer and maintain Linux servers and services, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient operations.
• Design and develop innovative software solutions tailored to our ATG and Fuel Dispenser platforms, driving both functionality and efficiency.
• Lead and take ownership of DevOps tools, standards, and processes, fostering best practices and driving automation across the development lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong foundation in cloud environments, automation, and infrastructure management.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a DevOps team, with a track record of driving initiatives from conception to deployment.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Expertise in Linux administration (experience with Yocto is a plus).
• Proficiency in software development using Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience deploying and managing infrastructure in the cloud.
• Experience in setting up and optimizing DevOps environments (experience with embedded IoT devices is a plus).
