About the Role: As a Food Runner at Voodoo Brewery, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless food service for our guests. Your role is pivotal in delivering high-quality dishes promptly, contributing to the overall dining experience at our brewpub. Responsibilities:
- Food Expeditor: Expedite food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Timing Coordination: Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items, maintaining a smooth flow of service during peak hours.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect food orders before delivery to ensure they meet quality and plating standards, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Table Maintenance: Assist in clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and ensuring cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including trash removal.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with kitchen and serving staff to relay guest preferences, special requests, and any relevant information to ensure exceptional service.
- Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to inquiries and accommodating special requests to enhance their dining experience.
