About the Role: As a Food Runner at Voodoo Brewery, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless food service for our guests. Your role is pivotal in delivering high-quality dishes promptly, contributing to the overall dining experience at our brewpub. Responsibilities:

• Food Expeditor: Expedite food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Timing Coordination: Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items, maintaining a smooth flow of service during peak hours.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect food orders before delivery to ensure they meet quality and plating standards, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Table Maintenance: Assist in clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and ensuring cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including trash removal.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with kitchen and serving staff to relay guest preferences, special requests, and any relevant information to ensure exceptional service.
• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to inquiries and accommodating special requests to enhance their dining experience.
• Supportive Role: Assist bartenders and kitchen staff as needed to maintain smooth operations and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:

• Team Player: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
• Hospitality Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation in food delivery.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues effectively.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to handle varying demands and adapt to changing priorities during busy periods.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of standing, walking, and lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
