Job Description:
- Learn and execute the duties of multiple back of house positions, including food preparation, dishwashing, cooking, and expediting.
- Stocks and sets up kitchen stations, being mindful of company waste standards.
- Maintains the overall condition of the kitchen, in accordance with food safety standards.
- Demonstrates understanding of and commitment to maintaining proper food temperatures, labeling, organizing, etc.
- Maintains kitchen equipment, including regular and preventative maintenance.
- Assists with weekly and daily food preparation.
- Adheres to health department codes regarding food sanitation and handling.
- Prepares and plates items based on departmental training and guidance.
- Works closely with the General Manager, Kitchen Manager, and the back of house team to ensure that the Voodoo Erie food program is living up to expectations and standards.
- Adheres to Voodoo Brewing Co. standards and policies, including personal hygiene and appearance.
- Adheres to Voodoo Brewing Co. culture and guest interaction standards.
- Responsible for participating in all relevant team and company meetings.
- Possesses strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
- Holds a Food Handler Certification.
- Physically able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work in a hot, fast-paced environment.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends, weeknights, and limited holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
