Position: Administrative Assistant to the Director of Title III Programs and Vice President for Business and Fiscal Affairs
Department/Division: Title III/Business and Fiscal Affairs
Salary Range: $32,000 - $37,000
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Position Duration: Full-time
Position Schedule: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday (Extended hours, weekends, and travel may be required)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Reports to the Vice President for Business and Fiscal Affairs.
- Coordinates campus events, functions, and travel arrangements for the Office of Vice President and Title III.
- Compiles source materials and data needed for the completion of reports.
- Reviews, prepares, and transmit incoming and outgoing correspondence promptly.
- Process travel documents submitted by faculty and staff.
- Reconcile monthly credit card statements.
- Maintains and organizes records and files in the Title III Office.
- Provides technical support for Title III activities.
- Reviews expenditure requests, assists with budget management, and tracks requisitions.
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Title III and Vice President.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree for a regionally accredited institution.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Three years of administrative and/or office experience
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying operational policies and procedures.
- Ability to understand and execute complex written and oral instructions.
- Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Access.
