Every year, thousands of patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and other blood cancers relapse post-transplant with no safe and effective treatment options. Vor Bio's approach provides the first opportunity to deliver potentially curative treatments post-transplant.
Our novel platform creates a shielded stem cell transplant that is designed to enable multiple modalities and therapies, including Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs) and Chimeric Antigen Receptor T (CAR-T) cells, which could potentially be effective against the tumor, but are toxic to normal cells. Vor's genetically engineered transplant provides a protective shield to the healthy cells and thereby allows the cancer cells to be specifically targeted for destruction.

Who we are looking for :
Vor Bio is looking for a highly motivated Co-Op to join our growing Manufacturing Compliance team. The successful candidate will be integral in supporting Manufacturing for our novel therapies. The position requires enthusiasm, passion, attention to detail, and a desire to maintain compliance for our new medicines for patients. This team is responsible for supporting Deviations / CAPAs and Change Controls owned by Manufacturing, continuous process improvements (i.e. SOP authoring and revision, Form revisions), conducting training, and supporting on-going clinical manufacturing by completing manufacturing readiness tasks.
Key areas of responsibility :
- Assist in authoring and owning of manufacturing deviations and investigations, CAPAs, and change controls through use of Root Cause Analysis tools and risk assessments
- Support manufacturing continuous improvement initiatives
- Establish key performance indicators in alignment with department goals, maintain and report applicable area or organizational metrics
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to author, review, or revise applicable SOPs, batch records, and other operational related documents
- Assist Manufacturing with requesting MBR's, obtaining applicable forms
- Other tasks and duties as assigned by Area Management
