We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center operations and maintenance, with expertise in various technical areas.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain data center equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues within the data center environment
- Perform network installations and ensure connectivity within the data center
- Conduct equipment repairs and replacements as needed
- Utilize schematics and technical documentation to guide work processes
- Collaborate with service technicians to address complex technical problems
- Conduct electrical testing using tools such as ohmmeters
- Implement Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions
- Ensure Ethernet connectivity and optimize network performance
Skills
- Proficiency in computer hardware installation and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of network installation and configuration
- Familiarity with electrical systems and equipment repair
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Experience working in a data center environment is preferred
- Knowledge of Ethernet protocols and connectivity standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
