As an IT Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing installations, and maintaining IT systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support for hardware and software installations, maintenance, and repairs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop computers, laptops, networking equipment, printers, and other IT systems
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware for clients
- Assist with system upgrades, network troubleshooting, and server maintenance
- Maintain inventory of equipment and manage service requests via ticketing system
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex issues and deliver exceptional customer service
- Train end-users on basic IT practices, and provide clear documentation and reporting of tasks completed
- Ensure client satisfaction by meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and resolving issues promptly
- At least 18 months of experience in IT support or as an IT Field Technician
- Strong understanding of hardware troubleshooting, software configuration, and networking
- Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and common office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.)
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for travel to client locations)
- CompTIA A , Network , or equivalent certifications are a plus
