Your responsibilities as a Boiler Operator
- Learning and operating of truck mounted Boilers for curing of CIPP Liners for Lining operations on various types of pipelines.
- Assist with installation of CIPP liners, and reinstatement of sewer service laterals
- Set up of CIPP Equipment. (Hoses, Inverters, Traffic control and equipment directly associated with installation of CIPP Liners.
- Travel is expected (per diem and hotels provided by TSU)
- Perform miscellaneous related duties and carry out special projects as assigned.
- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to work long days on your feet.
- Ability to work inside of Manhole structures.
- Emptying of liner debris (TRASH) out of reefer trucks into dumpster
- Ability to do CDL Pre/Post CDL Inspections on Vehicles
- Maintaining/Checking fluids in Boiler Trucks
- Ability to maintain Temps and pressures while processing liners
- Ability to use/learn how to operate power tools (Grinders, Sawzall, Etc.)
What we need from you (our requirements):
- Experience working in the construction field required
- Ability to do CDL Pre/Post CDL inspections on vehicles
- Valid Class B CDL License
- Knowledge in confined space entry, CIPP Lining, and construction safety
- Must have strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record over the last 3 years
- Ability to enter onto federal installations to conduct work
- Assist crew with the setup, install and cleanup of all Liner installs
- Strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stoop to use hand tools
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and includes shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - Flexibility is required as job duties demand.
