The Director of Sales is responsible for leading sales team in the development and execution of strategic business planning to maximize opportunities to achieve sales budgets and key objectives. The VP of Sales will forecast sales volumes utilizing industry knowledge and relationships; driving revenue, strategy and vision to customers and sales leaders tailored to the construction services and products markets.

Responsibilities

  • Developingandmanaginggrowthanddeliveryofproductsandservices.
  • Managingstrategicbusinessrelationships.Buildingtrust -based,value- addedrelationshipswithkeybusinessunitstakeholders.
  • Managingateamofspecializedsalesprofessionals,implementingconsistentpracticesforforecast,pipeline,territorymanagement,andquotasettingprocesses.
  • Building,developingandinspiringahighlyskilledsalesteam.
  • Establishinggo-to- marketstrategiesandimplementationplans.
  • Utilizingreportingofsalesnumbers,forecasts,pipelineandproductivity.
  • Strategizingandimplementingrevenuegeneratingsalesinitiativesbyleveragingrelationshipswithproductspecialists,alliances,andmarketing.
  • Identifyingtrendsinthemarketplaceandrecommendingaccountstrategiesbasedonmarketresearch,competitoranalysesandstrategicinitiatives
  • Achievingassignedsalesbudgetsandprovidingregularforecastupdates
  • Appropriatelyadaptsandleveragesproducts,servicesandoperationstoeffectivelycompeteincompetitivemarkets.

SkillsandExperience

  • 10yearssalesteammanagementexperiencerequired
  • Provenproficiencyindeveloping,leading,andexecutingasalesstrategy
  • Experienceinleadingsalesinitiativesindiverseenvironments,developedandimplementedstrategiesforrevenuegrowththatcapitalizeontheuniquenatureofspecificenvironments,leveragingpartnerandotherrelationshipscreativelywithoutbeingtiedtoaspecificapproach.
  • Solidexperienceinmanagingstrategicsaleseffortsandsignificantdemonstrablesuccessinbuildingvalueandgrowthinverticaltargetmarkets
  • Demonstrateshighlevelofinfluenceatseniorlevel,negotiation &facilitationskills
  • Demonstratesstrongknowledgeinoperationsstrategy,trends,issuesanddataanalysistodeliveragainstbusinessobjectives
  • Abilityapplycreativeconceptstodevisesolutions,andeffectivelypresenttheseconceptstoaudienceswithvaryinglevelsofexperience / understanding.
  • Demonstratedabilitytoworkeffectivelyinateam - orientedenvironmentandabilitytonavigateandexcelinacomplex,heavilymatrixedorganization
