About the Role

We are looking for a Regional Asset Manager to join us on our journey to facilitate a digital revolution using AI in the B2B supply chain. The Regional Asset Manager is tasked with overseeing comprehensive asset management, encompassing maintenance-related responsibilities, vendor relationships, repair orders, invoices, billing, scheduling, estimates, and robust data tracking and analysis to optimize overall asset utilization and performance in a designated region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible for managing daily operations of equipment repairs and maintenance
Communicate with maintenance vendors to resolve equipment issues
Provide proper operational information of equipment as needed
Responsible for establishing maintenance vendors in the region and markets
Coordinate and conduct onboarding of trailers into our markets
Work closely with control tower to manage all repairs and maintenance issues
Coordinate with HSE & Compliance Manager for risk & claims
Other duties, tasks and / or special projects as assigned
Utilize data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in asset management.
Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to senior management on fleet performance.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for asset performance, regularly reporting on metrics such as equipment downtime and overall fleet efficiency.
Build strong relationships with our customers, service centers, and other relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with facilities' shipping and receiving teams to understand operational challenges and improve asset performance.
Implement strategies to minimize trailer damage.
Work closely with drivers and facilities to identify trends and areas for improvement in asset care and use.
Train facilities on reporting and addressing damages promptly.
Collaborate with customer service teams to address any customer concerns related to equipment, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels.
During New Driver Onboardings, train drivers on equipment usage, care and reporting procedures for damages.
Foster a culture of responsibility and accountability among drivers in your regions.
Analyze data to determine the optimal number of trailers needed in each market.
Make recommendations for adjustments based on usage patterns and market demands.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications / Skills :
5 years in transportation operations and related maintenance experience and / or training
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Ability to pick up new systems quickly
Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in all projects and an ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as necessary
Ability to multi-task projects and required tasks in an organized fashion
Ability to work in a team environment as well as self-motivated in individual projects
Ability to communicate both verbally and written to all levels within and outside of the organization
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking and problem solving skills
Commitment to excellent customer service
Ability to inspect and identify equipment repair and maintenance needs
Understand mechanic work, repair shop, and parts maintenance
Comfortable with learning and engaging on new technologies
Compensation : $91-103k
