Voss Cadillac is hiring for a full-time Detailer/lot technician.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00 to 6:00 Friday-Off Saturday 9:00-5:00 Sunday-Off

Summary:
The detailer cleans and refurbishes new and used automobiles. Conforms to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and time allowance.
Essential Duties: include the following.
- Works towards guaranteeing ultimate customer service and satisfaction.
- Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows and wipes down door jambs using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes.
- Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surface to protect the surface and preserve shine, using a cloth or buffing machine.
- Vacuum the interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris using a vacuum cleaner.
- Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Applies revitalizing and preservation agents to the interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot-and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.
- Cleans engine and engine compartments with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
- Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove. Utilizes experience and judgment and follows the recommendations of the product manufacturer.
- Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
Your other duties include:
Detailing vehicles that are going out on the lot.
Keep sales lot neat and orderly.
Install Voss license plates.
Inspect vehicles on the lot and report any issues to the manager
Post pricing stickers
During winter months, keep doorways shoveled, sanded, and cleared. Also, clear snow and ice from vehicles on the lot
Other duties as assigned by management
Requirement and Skills:
Must be 18 years or older
A valid state driver's license with a solid driving record
Be able to lift up to 100lbs
The ability to meet the position's physical requirements includes walking, squatting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.
Willingness to follow all corporate policies and maintain high service quality standards.
