Responsibilities of the service technician:
- Perform diagnostic and repair services on Honda vehicles, including but not limited to engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC, and suspension systems.
- Use diagnostic tools, equipment, and resources to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Provide detailed, accurate, and timely reports on repairs, maintenance, and services.
- Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors to explain vehicle issues and provide repair recommendations.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology, repair techniques, and manufacturer updates.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Mentor and assist junior technicians when needed.
Qualifications:
Experience as a certified technician
Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and manufacturer-specific software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
