Responsibilities of the used car technician:
- Perform thorough inspections of used vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and safety-related issues.
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
- Complete repairs and maintenance on used vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension systems.
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance.
- Document all repairs and maintenance, as well as labor and time estimates performed on vehicles.
Qualifications:
Experience as a multi-line used car technician.
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
Strong Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
Be able to pass background and drug screen
