Based out of the Davenport warehouse, the Warehouse Associate is in an unique position of working both in and out of the warehouse. In the warehouse you will work to unload inbound freight, load Red Bull trucks at the end of the day, verify inventory, repack, and keep an orderly warehouse. Outside of the warehouse, you will ensure a customer-centric service of club drops, bulk deliveries, equipment deliveries and other deliveries as requested by management. You will also help with transferring product to our park out account managers when assistance is needed.
Club Drops & Bulk Deliveries:
· Personally manages communication and schedule for all bulk and club drops and ensures that requests are filled in time given.
· Knows and follows account expectations.
· Ensures highest levels of customer satisfaction.
· Drives safely to each stop and loads/ unloads product in a way that verifies safe practices are being utilized.
Inbound Freight & Loading:
· Adheres to proper procedures for inbound freight and verifies accuracy of load.
· Completes paperwork.
· Unloads inbound freight and puts product away where requested.
· Checks in trucks properly as they return. Check in/out process adheres to company policy, accuracy and efficiency.
· Creates an environment of teamwork between warehouse team and sales team.
· Loads vehicles and makes sure vehicles are properly loaded.
Forklift Driving
· Unload freight as it arrives
· Safely maneuver product throughout the warehouse, stacking and taking care of rotation
· Brings product to the vehicles for ease of loading
· Organizes the facility
· Follows proper procedures for inbound freight, verifies accuracy of load and completes paperwork.
Inventory Checking & Warehouse Upkeep
· Cycle Count inventory for warehouse and ensure daily load sheets are completed accurately
· Use First In First Out procedures.
· Complete repack of product as needed.
· Run support inventory to ASMs
- Maintain warehouse layout for maximum efficiency, safety and security, and maintain physical conditions of warehouse cleanliness and organizational standards.
Loading
· Checks in trucks properly as they return. Check in/out process adheres to company policy, accuracy, and efficiency.
· Vehicles are properly loaded (weight and balance) 100% of the time
· Repacks product as needed
· Cleans warehouse facility and removes debris and trash.
· Creates an environment of teamwork between warehouse team and sales team.
Requirements
- Self–motivated, detail-oriented, reliable, good communication skills, personable, positive attitude, organized time manager·
- Basic accounting and math skills· Must be able to adeptly work a handheld and have basic computing skills
- Able to consistently lift, push and pull 50-75 lbs. on a consistent basis·
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record (fewer than 3 incidents in five years (speeding, traffic violations, etc.), no at fault accidents in 5 years, and no DUI in 7 years)·
- DOT medical card required (If you do not have one, you will need to take the DOT physical.)·
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous order picking and pallet jack experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to become forklift/pallet jack certified
