Job Title: SAP Datasphere / SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Lead Consultant
Work Type: Hybrid - Remote and Onsite
Location: Consultant is required to be onsite for 1 week each month in Harrisburg, PA.
Candidates from PA, NJ, NY, DE, and OH will be given preference.
Description of Duties:
Design, configure, and implement SAP Datasphere solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA, Convergent Charging, Convergent Mediation, and non-SAP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Power Pages, and other custom developed applications including Image Review application, etc.
Develop and manage real-time data integration flows between the various systems and SAP Datasphere, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
Build and optimize data models, dashboards, and reports in SAC and SAP Datasphere to support strategic and operational goals and self-service reporting and advanced analytics.
Define and maintain data structures, relationships, and hierarchies to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems.
Create and deploy real-time data solutions, ensuring high performance and availability for business-critical operations.
Establish data pipelines and workflows and optimize them for efficiency and scalability to deliver accurate, up-to-date information for reporting and analytics.
Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate with the other technical teams (BRIM, CM, Dynamics, Security, and Infrastructure) to apply best practices.
Develop user-friendly, reusable data points in SAP Datasphere for self-service reporting in tools like SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors, to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and performance in SAP Datasphere.
Monitor and troubleshoot data integration issues to ensure seamless operations.
Stay updated on the latest developments in SAP technologies and recommend best practices for implementation.
Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
Lead and participate in project team activities for system work efforts related to enterprise systems.
Work independently to accomplish the tasks and duties assigned.
Adhere to and follow all the client’s standards, policies, and procedures.
Utilize various software and/or technology tools to perform job duties.
Perform tasks and other duties as related to this position and role and assigned by the client.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven 7 years of experience in real time data integration and analytics, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytical Cloud (SAC).
Proven experience integrating SAP Datasphere with SAP BRIM components and non-SAP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, and custom applications built on Azure.
Strong understanding of real-time data integration techniques and technologies.
Expertise in data modeling, ETL, data integration, and visualization workflows.
Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices and experience in writing policies and procedures for data governance.
Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and reporting tools like Power BI or QLIK.
Proficient grasp of the entire SAP Analytics landscape, including, but not limited to, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, and BW4/HANA
Knowledge of APIs, OData services, and other integration tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior team members for the client’s long term support needs.
Knowledge of development on HANA 2.0, such as HANA XSA Development, nodeJS, or ABAP development is an added advantage.
