Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform minor and major repairs of all Plant and Rolling Stock
- Perform preventive maintenance procedures on plant equipment on a scheduled basis; inspect belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, grease bearings, seals etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts.
- Perform required routine maintenance on all mobile equipment (i.e. oil and filter changes).
- Maintains an inventory of regularly required replacement parts.
- Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments.
- Adheres to all safety, environmental and company policies and procedures in completing daily tasks including MSHA and OSHA Compliance.
- Must have a working knowledge of basic mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as the use of all shop equipment such as welding and cutting equipment.
- Must be flexible to travel between plants.
- Must have 5 years minimum mechanical experience.
