Summary/Job Scope
Provides preventative and corrective repairs and overhauls to diesel trucks, mixer trucks and other automotive vehicles as instructed by their Lead Mechanic by performing the following duties.

Summary/Job Scope
Provides preventative and corrective repairs and overhauls to diesel trucks, mixer trucks and other automotive vehicles as instructed by their Lead Mechanic by performing the following duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of job following company safety rules.
- Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles.
- Examine vehicle and discusses with Lead Mechanic and/or driver of vehicle nature and extent of damage or malfunction.
- Repair and fix broken down vehicles.
- Maintain organized work environment.
- Valid NYS Driver License Class D
- NYS Inspector's License a preference
- Airbrake Certification
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computers.
- Ready Mix experience with Class B License, helpful.
