Responsibilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems in the plant.
- Lubrication of all plant equipment.
- Assisting in emergency repair situations of plant.
- Skilled preventive maintenance diagnosis.
- Jackhammering
- Maintenance and cleaning of dust collector.
- Complete daily paperwork.
- Fabrication both steel and wood
- Maintain good housekeeping at shop
- Threading pipe and plumbing
- Conveyor belt repairs
- High mechanical aptitude
- General knowledge of Redi-mix plant
- Ability to operate Forklift-Company will train
- Ability to operate Manlift-Company will train
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to fabricate items based on print
- Ability to cut and weld
- Ability to rig equipment for lifting
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lifting 50-100 pounds
- Sitting, standing, walking, climbing and crawling
- for extended periods of time
- Ability to work outside
- Walking up 320’ conveyor with 45 degree angle
- Wearing respirator after undergoing proper fitment
- Must maintain forklift certificate
- Must maintain manlift certificate
- Working hours vary from before 5am to after 5pm based on need.
