Packaging Graphic Designer - Bath & Beauty
Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Packaging Graphic Designer to join our creative team. Someone who is highly motivated, has a great personality and a passion for delivering creative designs. The Designer will create unique and trendy packaging for our bath, beauty, and accessory products; print and label creation; as well as working within certain client’s strict style guides. Hybrid / Remote work opportunity.
Responsibilities
Ability to Conceptualize, Design and Execute Unique / Trendy Packaging for our Bath, Beauty, and Accessory Products
Create Art Renderings in Illustrator
Strong Command of Visual Design Capabilities, Including Composition, Layout, Information Hierarchy, Typography, and Color Judgement
Produce Factory Ready Final Art Files for Final Production
Ability to Create Physical Mockups
Work Directly with Art Director, Project Managers and Creative Team
Able to Follow Client Style Guides
Qualifications
Must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in fashion design, pattern making or related field
Must have at least 2 years’ experience in the beauty and wellness world, creating quality control guidelines for BATH PRODUCTS and IMPLEMENTS to ensure items fit properly
Experience with print and label creation in addition to packaging
Knowledge of specs, flat sketches and pattern making are essential
Speed, accuracy and a strong sense of urgency are required
Proficient experience with AI, Photoshop and Indesign
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite for Mac : Illustrator & Photoshop
A keen eye for trends and prints, the ability to translate to customer base, strong sense of color and ability to create templates for product and packaging
Ability to work well individually, as part of a team, and with key stakeholders from other departments
Excellent Time Management Skills to Meet Strict Deadlines
