Role Description
This is a full-time Underwriter role based in New York, NY. As an Underwriter at VOX Funding, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating applications, analyzing financial data, and determining the risk involved in providing funding to businesses. You will work on-site to review and approve funding requests while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
- Experience in underwriting loans or evaluating credit risk
- Knowledge of financial statements and credit reports
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Certifications in credit analysis or underwriting (e.g., Chartered Financial Analyst) would be a plus
