Software Develop Consultant role will support our Corporate Applications Systems with responsibility for supporting implementation and documentation to determine the most optimal solution as part of a Finance Transformation program where Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications suite (OFSAA) will be integrated into the business' processes. This individual will be an expert analytical resource focusing on highly visible, complex, and critical business priorities. This position will establish and support plans for defining, delivering, enabling, and supporting significant information technology components into the organization architecture.
Minimum Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience in OFSAA modules.
- Good expertise in administering OFSAA environments and creating T2T (Table to Table) transformations and batches in OFSAA.
- 6 years of experience working in the financial industry.
- In-depth understanding of Dimensions, hierarchies, and attributes as it applies to OFSAA modules.
- In-depth understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Work with business partners toward the successful implementation and adoption of OFSAA.
- Makes informed and independent technical contributions to defining business and functional requirements for enhancements and projects.
Experience in the following areas:
- Configure Business rules in OFSAA.
- Write T2Ts to transform data.
- Develop procedure, function, advanced analytical functions using PL/SQL.
- Understand business requirements and implement technical solution within OFSAA in an efficient way.
- Test OFSAA configurations and fix defects as appropriate.
- Troubleshoot technical issues by analyzing OFSAA log files and fixing the issues.
- Understand complex SQL queries, analyze data related issues and identify root cause of issues / defects.
- Develop and implement performance optimal system.
- Maintain the end-to-end OFSAA batch and provide technical support.
- Experience with Business Intelligence, Mapping Documents, Source Data, etc.
- Experience in data integration and data quality projects
- Software development environment methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across diverse audiences (Functional communication to technical stakeholders, technical communication to non-technical stakeholders)
Major responsibilities include:
Qualifications
- OFSAA Administration, Development and production support including batch runs and development requests to fix defects as required.
- Troubleshoot technical issues by analyzing OFSAA log files and fixing the issues.
- Analyze data related issues and identify root cause of issues / defects.
- Develop rules in OFSAA including configuring AAI and writing T2Ts to transform data, and create Unix shell scripts to integrate OFSAA with the Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM.
- Develop adhoc procedures using PL/SQL.
- Testing in support of projects and creation of project artifacts as required by project life cycle.
Qualifications
- 5 years of Hands-on experience in OFSAA modules.
- Good expertise in configuring Business rules in OFSAA Modules.
- Good expertise in administering OFSAA environments and building T2T (Table to Table) transformations in OFSAA.
- 3 years of expertise in developing forms with the help of OFSAA forms framework.
- 6 years of experience writing and debugging complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures in Oracle database and writing UNIX shell scripts.
- In-depth understanding of Dimensions, hierarchies and attributes as it applies to OFSAA profitability modules.
- In-depth understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Working knowledge of OFSAA Run-Rule framework
- 6 years of experience working in the financial industry.
Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
$105,700 - $132,120 USD
