About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our medical staff. Your primary role will be to assist with patient exams, take vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records. You will also be responsible for preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring that all medical supplies are stocked and organized. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.
The hourly range for this position is $18.25 - $22.00. Pay is based on years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Rooms patients, obtaining and accurately documenting patient vital signs, weight, height, and medications
- Assists providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments
- Clean instruments/equipment, pack instruments for sterilization and operate autoclave for instrument sterilization
- Clean autoclave weekly/month, clean and stock patient examination rooms and supply areas
- Travel to other locations as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks
- Must have nursing assistant certification
- CPR certification, required within one month of employment
