Position Description:
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential suppliers/vendors: This involves researching the market and identifying suitable suppliers for specific goods or services.
- Obtain price quotations and negotiate terms and conditions
- Assist in securing competitive pricing and favorable terms from suppliers.
- Maintain a comprehensive supplier database: Keep track of supplier information, contact details, and performance data.
- Manage supplier relationships
- Help build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient procurement processes.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field required.
- Practical experience with shipping carriers, scheduling shipments, tracking orders, and logging receipts preferred.
- Proficiency or familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP Systems - NetSuite and/or E2 Shop JobBoss preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Salary Range: $30 to $45 per hour
