Custodian

Requirements Ability to handle heavy equipment (lite forklift driving, scissor lift, pallet jack) and machinery (floor sweeper/scrubber) Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition for the safety of the employees and to follow Good Manufacturing Practices for our customers. Responsibilities Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities (log sheet) Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Make adjustments and minor repairs Stock and maintain supply rooms Cooperate with the rest of the staff and working with warehouse supervisors Follow all health and safety regulations Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash Maintain outer premises by, cleaning entrances and back of building docking areas of trash and debris. other duties, tasks or projects as assigned by management Skills and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred Bilingual highly preferred. Previous forklift operator experience preferred. Ability to work in a change oriented, fast-paced environment.
