Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Senior Technical Lead within our team. This role offers remote work opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining technical architecture and design patterns for projects.
- Evaluating new technologies and proposing their adoption within the team.
- Leading technical discussions and decision-making processes.
- Setting coding standards and best practices.
- Mentoring and coaching junior developers.
- Assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities based on team members' strengths.
- Providing performance feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Fostering collaboration and communication within the team.
- Analyzing project requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Identifying potential technical risks and mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring project progress and addressing technical roadblocks.
- Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Communicating effectively with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Aligning technical solutions with business needs.
- Collaborating with other technical teams to integrate systems.
- Identifying opportunities to optimize existing systems and processes.
- Promoting knowledge sharing and technical innovation within the team.

Qualifications:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- 8 years of Full Time Equivalent (FTE) experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes. At least five (5) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
- 8 years of FTE experience developing technical solutions, including gap analysis, and developing plans for transitioning to target architecture.
- Defining policies and principles to guide technology decisions for the enterprise architecture, including privacy, security, development standards, and stakeholder collaboration.
- 8 years of FTE experience of technical writing. Documenting the 'as is' and 'to be' enterprise architecture infrastructure (including but not limited to business units, key Five (5) years of FTE experience as an administrative level user of Atlassian tools. Including, but not limited to, Jira Align, Jira Software, and Confluence processes
- Extensive experience administering Atlassian products, including Jira Align, at an enterprise level. Familiarity with Atlassian architecture, API, database tables, application logs, and email handlers. Experience with Jira Query Language (JQL), scripting, and automation.
- Experience with Atlassian migrations, either within the Atlassian ecosystem or to /from external systems. Owning, managing, defining, and optimizing standard SaaS tools and processes to drive tool-specific best practices and increased collaboration.
- Current Atlassian Certifications.
- Experience maintaining the scalability, sustainability, and manageability following industry standards and best practices for enterprise Atlassian ecosystems. Demonstrated experience developing Jira workflows, customizations, and standardizations to support enterprise level reporting.
The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $98,500 to $191,000. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. This position is classified as exempt in accordance with applicable law.
