Responsibilities
Client Consultation: Conduct meetings with existing and potential commercial clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored advice.
Account Management: Regularly review accounts to ensure their adequacy for ongoing client requirements and suggest necessary adjustments.
New Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the agency's commercial lines portfolio.
Risk Assessment: Collaborate with underwriters to determine and assess potential risks associated with client requirements.
Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive insurance proposals tailored to meet commercial clients' specific needs.
Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships within the business community to promote and grow the agency's brand.
Requirements
Licensing: Must hold an active New Jersey Property & Casualty License. Life & Health license a plus
Experience: Proven track record in insurance sales, particularly in commercial lines, is required.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Sales Acumen: Strong ability to understand client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
