Description: Arcadia at Limerick Pointe is a beautiful, state-of-the-art, faith-inspired, senior living community that provides Independent Living, Personal Care, and Memory Care. Arcadia at Limerick Pointe is seeking a full-time Housekeeper. As a member of the Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry duties throughout the community in order to create a safe, secure, and inviting environment for Residents, Families, and Team Members.

General Day-to-Day Responsibilities will include

• Performing cleaning duties according to schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in assigned areas such as resident apartments, common areas, lounges, and offices.
• Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, and wet mopping all floors, and stairways; spot cleaning and vacuuming floors, rugs, carpets, and runners. Rotating runners in hallways and entryways.
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathroom facilities. Polishing bathroom, shower, and sink fixtures. Stocking dispensers, as necessary.
• Dusting, washing, sponge mopping, sanitizing, and hand shampooing furniture; dusting desk and floor lamps, cleaning and polishing glass surfaces, woodwork, walls, and windowsills.
• Scrubbing bath and shower room tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
• Maintaining equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly manner.
• Collecting trash and refuse from work areas and designated pick-up areas.
• Collecting, cleaning, and redistributing the community laundry.
• Maintaining the commercial laundry in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
• Ensuring cleaning chemicals are kept stored and locked when not in use.
• Ensuring any cords, carts, equipment, and other hazards are kept out of the way, not blocking exits and in compliance with fire codes.
• Reporting any needed repairs and supply & equipment needs to the Lead Housekeeper.
• Other duties as assigned.

The right candidate should be a professional who can perform tasks with frequent interruptions and work semi-independently without direct supervision. While we support continued learning and enrichment, and celebrate a culture that encourages learning new skills, there are base level requirements for this position that include but are not limited to:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right applicant.
• Previous customer service experience a plus.
