Description : Arcadia at Limerick Pointe is a beautiful, state of the art, faith inspired, senior living community that provides Independent Living, Personal Care, and Memory Care. Arcadia is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for our Residents, Guests, and Team Members. Day-to-Day Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician : (Include but are not limited to)

Complete work orders for repair and maintenance of our community and grounds in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

Routine maintenance duties may include fixing wall and / or floor coverings; repairing furniture and fixtures; performing basic plumbing work; performing minor electrical repairs; repairing appliances; painting and refurbishing projects.

Under the supervision of the Facilities Director, working on heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems and pumps, refrigeration systems, motors, fans, electrical systems, and emergency generators.

Performing carpet and hard surface floor maintenance.

Performing deep cleaning and resident apartment flips.

Assisting with housekeeping functions as needed.

Communicating with the Facilities Director for needed technical advice, product information, research, and quality assurance guidance.

Advising the Facilities Director on the overall condition of the equipment and furnishings of the community.

Maintaining all tools and repair parts.

Other duties as assigned.

The right candidate should be a professional who can respond promptly to our Residents needs and interact with guests, residents, and staff in a courteous and friendly manner. This position requires the candidate to work independently.

Qualifications :

While we support continued learning and enrichment, and celebrate a culture that encourages learning new skills, there are base level requirements for this position that include but are not limited to :

High School diploma or GED.

Technical school education preferred.

One (1) year maintenance and / or housekeeping experience preferred.

Must have basic technical knowledge (such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance) and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment. Possess a basic knowledge of construction principles.

General understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, and life & safety regulations is a plus. However, we are willing to train the right candidate.
