VP Racing is seeking a paid Sales Intern to support our Sales team at our Texas Headquarters (San Antonio, Texas), with full time opportunities available throughout the U.S. This internship offers hands-on experience in sales strategy, customer relationship management, market development, and business operations. The intern will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, supporting key accounts, and learning the ins and outs of sales within a high-performance industry. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain real-world sales experience while working alongside industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and developing new customer opportunities throughout the United States.
- Support account management efforts by maintaining communication with current customers and helping identify growth opportunities.
- Help coordinate and participate in customer visits, trade shows, and promotional events to build brand visibility and deepen customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to implement strategic sales plans and track performance against objectives.
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, reports, and customer communications.
- Conduct research on competitors, trends, and emerging markets within the region.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to align promotional efforts and support sales campaigns.
- Help maintain customer records, sales data, and internal communication tools.
- Perform additional sales and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently while supporting overall sales strategy.
- Interest in automotive, motorsports, or performance products is a plus.
